At the learning center. We finally got a page! Elisa has found a new website that will help a lot. Esther is away today which is making it a bit harder.

Esther is at school today. Elisa showed her the wiki and how to edit it, etc. We have just put in our questions and made this log.
Wednesday 3rd June- period 4
We have just added a new page- information on the internet and we are currently adding the pages from a word document and highlighting them in colours matching our questions. Mr Bye also just showed us two helpful websites- te ara and dictionary of New Zealand biography. Thank you!
Thursday 4th June
Just found a book on the Christchurch Librarys website that is currently at the central library about the Deans family which would be useful. The problem is that it can't be booked out.

Mr. Bye gave us his own book to borrow on The Deans family. We have written down the page numbers of which we need to scan and we will when we are next at the South Learning Center.

We have just added our draft key ideas. We need to add a photo of us on our main page because we keep forgetting. We have to do that soon.
Elisa has been to two sessions at the South Learning Center and Esther has only been to one. We hope we both will be able to go to the next one.

Today we decided that it was time to sort out our information so we are re-doing our 'information from the internet' page.
We have made two draft idea glogsters and have decided to use the second one for the main.

We sorted our for our 'What was it like building Riccarton Cottage' information so it was ready to put on the glogster on Wednesday
Tuesday 23nd June
We have started making our first glogster for our research question, Why did they come to Canterbury, New Zealand. We think we might have a picture of what it was like in England when they left for our main photos. If anyone has any suggestions please tell us on the discussion. We also sorted out our information for our questions 'Why did they come to Christchurch' and 'How has the family changed/shaped Christchurch.
Wednesday 23rd June
We have finished our glogs! YAY! We worked really hard at the Learning Centre and managed to finish them. We also finally added a photo to the main page. :)
Oops we actually have to to the bibliography for one of the glogs but otherwise they are finished. We have made a link to the glogs from the questions that they come from. We have 4 questions but we have combined the first 2 questions so we have 3 glogs.
